Well we just found out today that we have a new form we need to complete and add to our dossier. And then the news came on HARD....we have at least 3forms that need to be re-done. We were hopeful that the dossier would have been submitted to SDA on the 15th but it looks as if we are postponed another week or 2.
Just when I thought I was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel or the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...right now it looks like a final storm.
I'm having a tough day today taking this all on, I just keeping thinking it will come to an end soon and our little boy will be in our arms. That's all I want.
Thanks for listening to me cry today..... :(

So sorry :( I know how you feel. We were caught in every mess possible and kept having to add forms after our dossier was already there. It was annoying and costly! But we have Zoya home now and it was all worth it. You will almost forget this once your baby is home!
ReplyDeleteI hate to re-iterate what Sarah already wrote but we too got caught up in at least 3 different holiday delays, SDA shut-down, etc. AND form re-dos and form add-ons. I KNOW how you feel and it's the pits!
ReplyDeleteBUT, the light is still at the end of the tunnel and his name is Bryce (boy is he cute!)so keep looking for that glimmer in that sometimes dark tunnel--it's there!!!

I am so sorry that you are having to redo forms. The same thing happened to me. My dossier was there for 10 days and then I got word I had to redo a form. Only one, but I redid it and found out I had to do it yet again. I feel your pain!! Try and hang in there!!!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you will be able to get the forms done quickly and mail them off. Getting that email that you have to redo forms stinks! We had to as well. I still hope that we will be there together! I am now nervous about the SDA not accepting forms...ahh. Seems like there is something to drive you nuts each step of the way! These are our labor pains. Soon enough we will be chatting at TGIF's and enjoying the long walk from the orphanage to the hotel every day. Can't wait!
